Here’s a look at what Uconnect® can do when you get down to the details:

No matter how much you love the Uconnect® features, sometimes you just need a little radio silence. So can you turn Uconnect® off? We’ll go over how to temporarily suspend Uconnect® functions in the following section.

Can You Turn Uconnect© Off?

By default, Uconnect® engages when you turn your key in the ignition. However, turning off or muting specific features is just as simple! Here’s how to silence text messaging or power down the infotainment screen and radio:

1. Tap the “Phone” button.
2. Say, “Setup, incoming SMS message announcement.”
3. When asked if you want to turn it off, respond “Yes.”
