Choice of four trims

The 2007 Dodge Magnum is a full-size 4-door station wagon from DaimlerChrysler Corporation. The 2007 Dodge Magnum is the second generation Magnum. The first-generation was introduced in 1978 while the second-generation was launched in 2004 for the 2005 model year.

The 2007 Magnum is available in four trims: SE, SXT, R/T, and SRT8. The R/T is also available with the Road/Track (R/T) Performance Group. All the four trims are available in Rear Wheel Drive (RWD) options, while the SXT and R/T are also offered in All-Wheel Drive (AWD) versions.

All Magnum trims come with a powertrain warranty for 36 months or 36,000 miles.

Four awe-inspiring engines

The 2007 Magnum offers a choice of four engine options. The Magnum SE comes fitted with a 2.7-liter V6 engine that produces 190 hp and 190 lb-ft of torque. It provides an excellent combination of performance and fuel-economy.

The Magnum SXT is powered by a high-output 3.5-liter V6 engine that generates 250 hp and 250 lb-ft of torque.

The Magnum R/T derives power from a 5.7-liter HEMI Multiple Displacement V8 engine that delivers 340 hp (350 with available Road/Track Performance Group) and 390 lb-ft of torque. The advanced Multiple Displacement System (MDS) shifts from eight cylinders to four during driving and light acceleration to save fuel.

The SRT8 gets the advantage of a high-performance 6.1-liter SRT HEMI V8 engine that issues a stellar 425 hp and 420 lb-ft of torque.

An advanced 5-speed automatic transmission (AT) with AutoStick comes standard on all the trims with the exception of the SE, which features a 4-speed AT. Transmission in all the trims features overdrive.

All the four trims are equipped with a 5-link rear suspension and an independent front suspension. Stopping power is provided by disc brakes in the front as well as the rear.
