The new Dodge Avenger was exposed at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit. It will be available in the markets by the fall of 2007. The new Avenger arrives with a variety of powerful engines, a four-speed automatic transmission, optional all-wheel drive system and a new design. Other important features include new front-end with blackened headlamps, a well-designed interior, soil-repelling, anti-microbial fabric upholstery, LED interior lighting, heated and cooled cup holders.
The Avenger will be available in 4 models: a base SE, SXT, R/T and R/T AWD. For 2007, the Dodge Avenger gets a dual-overhead cam 2.4-liter four cylinder engine that generates 173 horsepower. Other options are the V6 engines: a 2.7-liter V6 that generates 189-hp and a 3.5-liter V6 that produces 235-horsepower. A six-speed automatic with manual shift capability and all-wheel drive will be offered with the 3.5-liter V6 engine.
