2007 Dodge Nitro: All-new mid-size SUV

The 2007 Dodge Nitro is Dodge’s first mid-size SUV, distinguished by a high beltline, high seating position, and a squared-off chunky front fascia. This new five-passenger SUV is smaller than the Durango and 4 inches longer than the Jeep Liberty. The 2007 Dodge Nitro is available in SXT, SLT, and R/T models. Powering the SLT and SXT is a 210-hp 3.7-liter standard V6; the R/T has a 255-hp 4.0-liter V6. A 6-speed manual transmission is standard on SXT; a 4-speed automatic is standard on SLT and optional for SXT; R/T has a 5-speed automatic. All Dodge Nitro models are also available with rear-wheel drive. The chrome and silver accented cabin is versatile with simple and uncluttered features and can hold people and cargo with room to spare.

The 2007 Dodge Nitro features 5-Star front and side crash test ratings. Antilock 4-wheel disc brakes, an antiskid system, and curtain side airbags are standard safety features on all Nitro models. SLT and R/T have Dodge's Load 'n Go cargo floor that slides back to form a table surface that allows you to carry up to 400 lbs. 2007 Dodge Nitro options and upgrades include a navigation system, DVD entertainment, and a wireless cell phone link.
